Our Goal: The Best Therapy
Our goal is to provide
the best possible therapy for patients who suffer from kidney
disease. Our expertise in clinical nephrology is based on
solid clinical research. The nephrologists in our group are
responsible for cutting-edge investigations which have changed
the standards of medical practice worldwide with respect to
the use of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors in Type
1 diabetic nephropathy and angiotensin receptor blockade I
Type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Other major advances pioneered
within the practice include the therapy of lupus nephritis,
the use of erythropoietin in chronic dialysis patients, and
peritoneal membrane function in patients undergoing peritoneal

As a practice we believe that
partnership with the primary/referring physician is
essential to assuring quality care for the patient. Through
consultation we advise the primary/referring physician about
the optimal care of their patients and offer the advantage
of our clinical experience and expertise. We are very accessible
to address issues with both physicians and patients and have
a staff of nurses, dietitians, and social workers to assist
us and our patients.
Our practice is affiliated
with Circle Medical
Management, a Medicare-certified dialysis facility
that provides in-center hemodialysis, ambulatory peritoneal
dialysis, long-term care dialysis, and acute dialysis services.
